We are pleased to announce that Pino Nature is the winner of the "MEETINGS STAR - CONGRESS STAR" award.
Pino Nature Hotel was declared one of the best hotels in 2022, 2019, 2018 in the field of congress tourism in competition from 384 hotels and 29 congress centers in Europe.
It is a certificate awarded by the company Toleranca from Slovenia, which proves the conformity of congress facilities and services with the Meetings Star ratings and certification system. It checks more than 490 evaluation criteria that are key to the satisfaction of meeting planners.
The European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation have announced 356 projects from 36 countries that have been nominated for the European Union Award for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2017.
Studio Zec with the Hotel Pino Nature project on Trebević was nominated for the European Union Award for Contemporary Mies van der Rohe Architecture 2017.
This prize has been awarded every two years since 1987, and the winner wins $60,000 and a sculpture evoking Mies van der Roghe's Pavilion in Barcelona.
In the description of the Pino Nature Hotel project, it is stated that in Sarajevo, along with the cult of drinking coffee, there is a tradition of recreation on the surrounding mountains, which are the true "lungs of the city". The appearance of Hotel Pino relies on steep roofs and the experience of national architects, the natural geometry of the mountain environment, the tactility and warmth of a mountain lodge.

EHDA 2016
The EDHA 2016 (European Hotel Design Awards) will be held in London on November 21, and among the objects nominated for the award for the best newly built object is Sarajevo's Pino Nature hotel, located on Trebević. Hotel Pino, along with six other buildings, was nominated in the "Newbuild" category. Renowned BiH architect Amir Zec took care of the interior design of the building.
The Europe Hotel Design Awards are awarded for exceptional hotel design and architecture, honoring architects and designers. Awards are given for creativity, innovation and excellence across thirteen different categories.
IN Practice 2016
Studio Zec at the Architecture Biennale in Venice! The jury chose 37 European architectural firms, and the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this selection is Studio Zec with the project Hotel Pino!

Research project - IN practice, supported by AIAC - Italian Association for Architecture and Criticism, in cooperation with the magazine A10 new European architecture and the scientific contribution of Bureau Europa, promoted and supported by Studio Gnosis. The goal of IN practice is to explore innovative architectural practices that intelligently (re)shape the world and emphasize quality architecture in Europe with the aim of providing a source of inspiration for younger generations. The results of this research will be presented for the first time in Venice in the book "IN practice". The book will contain images, reflections and critical essays, illustrating the diverse and complex mosaic representing the state of sacred architecture in Europe. During the book launch event, selected European teams were invited to Venice to talk about their work and experience. Far from the commercial logic of the "Star Architects System", they designed interesting and innovative solutions for today's architectural challenges.
Gran Prix Colegium Atisticum 2016
The traditional annual April 6 exhibition, which is dedicated to the celebration of Sarajevo City Day, was opened the same evening in the Collegium artisticum gallery of the KS Culture Center.
Three artistic associations of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts and Designers (ULUPUBH), the Association of Architects (AABiH) and the Association of Fine Artists (ULUBiH) - jointly organized the exhibition, creating a platform for the presentation of the works of their members.
At the opening, three Grand Prix were awarded, one for each association. One of the awards was received by Amir Vuk - Zec for Hotel "Pino" in Trebević.
Vuk said that the recognition given to him means a lot for his further work, especially because he received the award for a facility that means a lot to the people of Sarajevo.
The 6th of April exhibition or Salon "Collegium artisticum" has the character of collectivity as a value that should be nurtured, in the name of the date to which it is dedicated, April 6, 1945, the Day of the Liberation of Sarajevo, and in the name of the memory of the Bosnian avant-garde represented by the artistic group "Collegium artisticum" ( 1939-1941).
AIT Award – Best in Interior and Architecture
Pino Nature Hotel won third place at the prestigious design competition
At the prestigious competition in the field of architecture and design "AIT Award – Best in Interior and Architecture", Pino Nature Hotel won a fantastic 3rd place among 723 candidates in the "Hotels" category, and the award was taken by architect Amir Vuk Zec.
One of the most important world competitions in the field of architecture and design "AIT Award – Best in Interior and Architecture" was held on March 21, 2018 in Frankfurt. In an extremely difficult and high-quality category in which 723 projects from a total of 36 countries around the world participated, "Studio Zec" from Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the finals with its project "Pino Nature Hotel".
Pino competed alongside projects from Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands and Great Britain.
With this competition, Pino Nature Hotel in Trebević once again confirmed the status of the building with the highest number of awards in the region.
